About FyreflyHost

FyreflyHost hosts Growtopia private servers (GTPS) and gives each owner a panel in the browser to run theirs. From the panel an owner can:

• read and type into the live server console
• edit the server’s Lua plugins and reload them
• start a world from a world template
• install worlds and plugins that other owners share on the community marketplace

Every account gets one server. There is a free plan and there are paid plans billed in Indonesian rupiah. The pricing page lists what each one includes.

FyreflyHost started in February 2024.

The problem it works on has not changed since. Running a GTPS on your own PC means the PC has to stay on, and the server goes down when it does. FyreflyHost runs the server somewhere else, so the owner only needs a browser to manage it and players can join while the owner’s computer is off.

In 2026, Firefly Private Server, a separate GTPS service that ran on its own site, ffps.fun, merged into FyreflyHost. The service and its domain came across together: ffps.fun now serves this same panel, and the old site no longer exists on its own.

Each server runs on a Linux node in Singapore. The panel and its API run on Cloudflare, which also stores uploaded textures. Owners never log in to a node: the panel passes their console commands, file changes and restarts to it.

The team maintains the server software and the panel, and ships updates to both. Players join with the Growtopia client. The how-to-play guide walks through the setup for each device.

The team is three developers and a community helper. Each person is listed by the handle they use.

FyreflyHost is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Ubisoft Entertainment or Growtopia. The Growtopia name appears on this site only to say which game the servers run.
